This would be fully refunded if the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the booking being made. The second payment of 30% would be payable half way between your first and third payment. And the third and final payment of 50% is due before or 60 days prior to arrival. We will make you aware of all payment dates when booking.

Travel Insurance

You agree to ensure that each member of your party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage), prior to booking a stay with us.

Deposits

A €500.00 security deposit will be required prior to your stay, this will be taken 2 weeks prior to your check in. A security deposit invoice will be sent via Stripe. This will be fully refunded up to one week after departure should there be no additional cleaning or breakage charges applied (as per the damages and breakages clause below). If booking through AirBnb or other online travel agents this isn’t taken at the time of booking, but we resereve the right to request it from the 3rd party company should there be any damages upon inspection.

Damage and Breakages

Please take care of our home. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur especially if you accidentally spill something – it’s much easier to clean if we know what it is and act quickly. We do not normally charge for small breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant.

Please do not apply or use fake tan in our bedrooms and bathrooms. Any linens, towels and soft furnishings stained with fake tan will be charged for. If professional cleaning is required to remove stains caused by fake tan products you will be expected to pay the bill. Similarly, please wash off sun cream before bed at night to avoid damage to linens and soft furnishings. Any staining that cannot be removed will be charged for.

We reserve the right to supply an additional invoice for breakages above the deposit amount of €500.00. In this circumstance receipts for the repair will be supplied to the guest and should be paid for within 5 working days without exception.

Cancellation by the Guest

We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us, especially if we have turned away potential guests in favour of someone who has already booked and who then cancels. We do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can happen, and we try to be as sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases.

In the event of a cancellation up to 60 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival, we will retain the 50% non-refundable payments and waive the final 50% balance.

If you cancel your reservation within 60 days of the scheduled date of arrival you will be liable for the full invoice price. Guests failing to arrive, without notification, will be responsible to a charge equivalent to the total reservation price.

We take all bookings in good faith, as we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival, guests are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and that any booking made with Manoir Beaulieu for accommodation, goods or services that are pre-booked (verbal or written) forms a legally binding contract. For this reason, you agree to ensure that each member of your party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance to cover against unexpected costs such as cancellation fees. In addition, we may take legal action, through the Courts, to recover any outstanding debts.

Cancellation due to Covid-19

In light of the recent global pandemic we have put in place specific terms and conditions, should you not be able to travel to us due to Covid-19 on your booked dates. For this you agree to ensure that each member of your party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance prior to booking with us.

If you have paid part of or your total balance and are then unable to travel due to government restrictions on travel being in place between France and your country of residence, for U.K. guests this specifically refers to France being added to the ‘Red List’, we will provide you with a Manoir Beaulieu voucher for the amount you have paid. This is redeemable up to 12-months from the date of your original stay. Should your dates be moved from low to high season, payment of the difference will be required to secure your dates. We are unable to refund the difference if your stay moves from high to low season.

When you are due to travel, should there be requirements to: quarantine upon your return, provide or take Covid-19 tests or show vaccination certificates – then these requirements fall outside of our covid-19 terms and conditions and our existing terms and conditions will apply to your booking. Should you decide not to travel do not form part of our Covid-19 policy. Cancellation due to these needs will result in our standard terms and conditions applying.

Should you decide not to travel, for any reasons other than a government order in place either in France or your country of residency then our standard cancellation policy is applicable.
